Okatie

Okatie is a distinct area that stretches from Western Beaufort County to South-central Jasper County. It was nominated as a voting district on 1st March 1916 by the General Assembly of the South Carolina State. This appointment made it fly higher than other towns in the same region.

Port Royal, Bluffton, and Hardeeville have occupied portions of Okatie. Buying a house in such a place is a worthwhile investment because it is the most incredible place in South Carolina anyone can ever dream of owning.

Unfortunately, Okatie has never experienced an extensive low-density residential development since the 1990s, unlike Riverbend, Oldfield, as well as Sun City Hilton Head. On top of that a poor industrial and commercial landscape can be seen in many areas where there is no forest habitat left for wildlife to thrive on . This development pattern has resulted in more concerns over water quality and a loss of forest habitats for wildlife. Okatie is safer than many surrounding towns, cities and villages in South Carolina. Records show it has a meager crime rate far better than most communities nationwide with an FBI analysis of neighborhood-level data from 2014 according to Nerdwallet .

The community itself is visually appealing as well as having great vibes which makes living here even more enjoyable!
